HAIL TO THE NEW KING!

This is for publication in your newspaper - a response to Mr. Salim Mansur's article in today's Sun praising President Bush's success in installing democracy in Iraq:

In a Seinfeld episode, George tells Jerry: "This is Costanza, LORD OF THE IDIOTS, so please..... a little respect". Well no more. George has been evicted, and we have a new KING OF THE IMBECILES - the irrepressible Mr.. Mansur.

Is is possible Mr. Mansur really wrote this article and the Sun published it? Am I hallucinating? I thought all over the world, billions of people were of the opinion that the American invasion of Iraq in 2003, done against the will of the international community and without UN approval, was a massive war-crime. Recently, residents of Vermont were publicly clamouring for the impeachment of President Bush and his cabinet for war-crimes. Even high-ranking officers of the US military have publicly castigated the Iraq invasion as "the greatest strategic disaster in U.S. history" (retired US general William Odom), a "blunder of historic proportions" (Col. Larry Wilkerson, Colin Powell's former Chief of Staff), and "a historic, strategic and moral calamity." (Zbigniew Brzezinski - former US National Security Council head).

All that is from the US' viewpoint. From Iraq's viewpoint, three-quarters of a million civilians dead, 5 million civilians displaced and on the move, and infrastructure damage exceeding a trillion dollars. Yes Iraq must be real happy that democracy is come to it.

Mr. Mansur's patent falsehoods would be funny if the reality were not so incredibly horrific. The death toll of Iraqi civilians marches on towards three-quarters of a million. That's nearly four times the number of Iraqis killed by Saddam Hussein, that tin-pot former dictator who was supported with great gusto as an ally by the US and the UK and given hundreds of billions of dollars worth of WMD so he could kill Iranians who had offended the US by throwing out the Shah, the other brutal dictator that the US had supported in the region. Casualties from that US-supported conflict (killed or wounded) exceeded a million people, and now the US in on course for a major conflict with Iran, on false premises as usual.

This guy is either on drugs, or on the payroll of the US Republican party..... a few more articles like this and the Toronto Sun will be seen as President Bush's personal propaganda dish-rag.

FIRST TONKIN, NOW HORMUZ

The Americans have started their war-crimes against Iran.....their new phase, that is. The earlier phases included the 1950s removal by the CIA of the democratically elected leader Mossadegh, and the installation of the Shah who ran a brutal police state for more than 20 years till he was removed by the Iranian revolution, which included the storming of the US embassy, which the US avenged by providing Iraq's Saddam Hussein with WMD to prosecute a decade-long war which resulted in a million casualties.

The US's demonizing of Iranian leader Ahmadinejad for the last two years has now been followed up with today's incident in the Straits of Hormuz where the US claims it was harassed by Iranian warships....this sounds eerily like the Gulf of Tonkin incident of the 1960s, which was staged by the US to give itself a pretext to launch into the invasion of South Vietnam. That 'war' created some 4 million Asian casualties...

The Americans are the biggest war-criminals since the Nazis....and they are aided by their cohorts-in-crime the British....the axis of evil runs from Washington to London....and there is seemingly nothing we can do about it....

THE AXIL OF EVIL RUNS FROM WASHINGTON TO LONDON

Forget Iraq, Iran, N. Korea - these countries are victims of the real 'evil' governments of the US and the UK.....

Iraq is currently being raped and devastated by the war-criminals from the Washington-London axis...and Iran is their next target.

North Korea was nearly razed to the ground in the 1950s with millions killed by a UN coalition force composed largely of American forces led by MacArthur. Declassified documents have proved beyond a doubt that the American 'domino' theory was a ruse to engage in massive crimes of war against nations the US painted as 'Communist' states. That the 'Red Menace' was hugely exaggerated by Truman, the Pentagon, and other hawks who needed a pretext to terrify Congress into approving massive increases to the Offence budget. Those documents have revealed that Korea had been in the grip of a cold civil-war, with the South and the North both plotting an attack on the other, and that there was much class-related conflict that had nothing to do with Communist ideology. The South was patronised by America. As for the North, it turns out the North Korean leader's request for Soviet aid for an attack had been turned down by Stalin some 48 times!...and when Stalin finally gave some very limited support (basically technical specialists and some pilots) it was on the mistaken belief the US would not interfere. Once the US did, Stalin withdrew support for North Korea even though it was subjected to massive bombing by the US which destroyed its cities and killed millions. Stalin had even ordered the Soviet UN ambassador to abstain from vetoing the American resolution calling for UN action against North Korea..that's how concerned he was about taking on the US. For good reason - the Soviet Union had suffered 27-million casualties in World War II - by far the greatest 'holocaust' of that war. It was the Soviets who defeated the Nazis in large part, though at catastrophic cost....the Állies' only finished off the half-dead Nazi force contrary to the jingoist myths sold by Hollywood in the ensuing years...

In the end the Korean war was fought to a large degree by the Chinese who feared that the pro-Taiwan/anti-Communist America's true intentions in this conflict were to invade China - which was certainly the case with MacArthur and which led to his firing by Truman, who was comfortable with crushing 'communism' in tiny Korea, but not in the much larger and possibly invincible China. Though initially defeated by MacArthur's forces, the Chinese fought back and returned the Americans to the 38th parallel which still divides the two Koreas. Today,Koreans want unification of the 2 Koreas but it is American polemic and hard-line against North Korea which is preventing this..

North Korea an axis point of evil? Only the most moronic of fools and liars, and unfortunately the North American landscape is littered with them, would believe this...The reality is North Korea is a victim of American war-crimes, though this charge will be easily denied on the grounds that America was acting under "UN authority"...

As for Iraq and Iran, these states have been the hapless victims of 'Big Power' interventions for over a century.....the 'Big Criminals' of the international arena.
